Android Phone Battery life is one of the biggest troubles that we are facing in Android world. In the past will look on the number days of battery life now we are looking the number of hours of battery life. So are there any realistic things you can do to improve your phone’s battery life, other than just switching it off, putting it a sock drawer and hoping no one ever wants to call you?
Reduce the brightness of the screen: Mostly everyone will increase the brightness will watching videos which will reduce the battery life. If needed you can increase the brightness otherwise kept it low. We can set Auto brightness coupled with power saving mode (found on most Samsung, LG, Sony, and some Motorola devices) will conservatively adjust the display to the surroundings to only the brightness necessary.
Turn off the vibration mode: If your phone is running Android 4.0 or above, press the volume down button until your phone goes in to vibrate. Press it once more to turn vibration off. If you have 2.2 or higher, go to Settings » Sound & display » Phone vibrates
Set a bedtime: By setting a bedtime, which let you, say, turn off the mobile signal and Wi-Fi after a certain time. Putting your phone in this sort of induced coma will save power, so if your phone doesn’t support scheduled activities, install a management app like Tasker and turn off all non-essential stuff over night. Or stick it in airplane mode yourself. You’ll sleep better, too.
Put the device in “Airplane Mode”: If your are busy or driving you can put an airline flight. Or you can power off the phone by which you can increase the battery life.
Do not leave applications running: If you don’t need apps close them and return to the home screen.
Turn off Wi-Fi if not needed: Switch off Wi-Fi when out and about or when you know you’re not going to need it. A Home screen toggle will make this easy
Uninstall apps if not needed: You can never be too sure what’s running itself in the background, what with all the multi-tasking, self-uploading, auto-replicating features in today’s modern Android apps, so at least minimize the chances of something randomly hovering up all your battery by constantly trying to connect to some non-existent server, by deleting any unused or old apps.
Turn off GPS if not needed: Unless you’re one of those people who’s still using Foursquare to tell the world about it every time you go out to the shop to buy a packet of crisps, there’s little reason to have GPS constantly active on your phone. Turn it on when you need it, and use the option to have your phone detect your location through the Wi-Fi connection.
9. Use 2G networks If you do not need access to high speed data, or there is no 3G or 4G network where you live, you can tell Android to only use 2G mobile networks. You will still have access to EDGE network data and Wi-Fi if needed.
Set your screen timeout to the shortest length possible.: This setting tells the device to turn off the screen after the selected period of inactivity. The shorter the period, the less power your display will use. The setting options vary from phone to phone.
Use the Power Control widget. As of Android 1.6, there is a widget that you can place on any one of your home screens that gives you quick control buttons for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Push sync, and screen brightness (three levels). Use this to control your settings and turn them off to save battery power, as stated above. This is a nice easy shortcut. - See more at: http://www.kananinet.com/2014/02/do-you-have-android-phone-then-you-must.html#sthash.3hhgyL0t.dpuf
